From the moment I entered , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell. The bar area , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and trash that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even a truly awful state— clogged , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was feces.
